The larger of Monty's two government primaries, on the south-eastern side of the suburb on Buena Vista Drive. Opened in 1972, it draws from the newer streets away from the village.

Montmorency Secondary College
The local government high school, co-ed, with 1,059 students in 2024. Opened in 1969, it runs on a zone, so families inside the neighbourhood boundary are guaranteed a place. It is organised into junior, middle and senior sub-schools, offers VCE and Vocational Major pathways, and has a strong performing-arts and instrumental-music program. The single campus is bordered by park reserves and the Plenty River.
